Putt Putt's Garage

In the Village of Borden a rock 'n roll odyssey unfolded. In May 2019, Jamie Brandrick, fueled by Borden spirit, committed to a local music festival in 80 days with no band in tow. Enter Andrew Hess on drums and Ross McBain on bass, musicians crafting strings and beats that firmly established the rhythm section for this small-town band. Kendal Redhead, the village's vocal virtuoso, joined as lead singer. Geoff McBain, a lead guitar maestro hailing from nearly Dalmeny, completed the ensemble. In a race against time these five transformed an idea into reality, never once entering the garage of the famous car, Putt Putt, from which the band name originated. With Jamie's rhythm to Andrew's beats, Ross' bass, Kendal's vocals & Geoff's lead guitar, Putt Putt's Garage emerged as a lively, crowd-pleasing party band. Proudly rooted in Borden, Putt Putt's Garage stands as a living testament that sometimes you can put the cart before the horse. Check us out on Facebook & YouTube; we'd love to hear from you!
